(UTV|COLOMBO) – The female employee attached to the Switzerland Embassy in Colombo, who was allegedly detained and threatened by unknown persons, has been summoned before the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) today (13).
The CID recorded statements from the female employee on 3 consecutive days over several hours.
Officers attached to the CID commenced investigations pertaining to the incident after a complaint was made over an incident where a female employee attached to the Switzerland Embassy in Colombo was allegedly detained against her will on the street and threatened at length in an attempt to pressure her into releasing information.
