(UTV|COLOMBO) – President Gotabaya Rajapaksa yesterday (18) engaged in an observational visit of the Economic Centre in Narahenpita.
The President inquired into whether consumers are being granted the benefit of the reduced tax concessions through essential goods.
He also inquired into whether the control price imposed on rice is being maintained.
Rajapaksa also contacted Officers of the Ministry of Finance and the Consumer Affairs Authority (CAA) to remain vigilant of whether tax concessions are being enjoyed by the public.
