(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – Health Minister Rajitha Senarathne instructed the officials to expedite the cleaning of school premises before the beginning of the new academic term.
A special discussion in this regard will be held with the participation of officials from Health, Education, Provincial Council, and Defence Ministries on 24th April at the Health Ministry.
The Health Ministry, with the intention of protecting the people from Dengue has initiated a number of Dengue prevention and awareness programs. Meanwhile, the minister has also instructed the officials to clean the Dengue breeding places within the school premises before the start of the new term.
