(UTV|COLOMBO) – British High Commissioner Sarah Hulton has said the UK government is ready to assist Sri Lanka in introducing prison reforms and drafting laws.
Hulton had made these remarks during a meeting with Justice, Human Rights & Legal Reforms Minister Nimal Siripala de Silva today (27), the Justice Ministry said.
Minister De Silva had briefed the envoy on the steps he hopes to take in terms of legal and judicial reforms in the country.
He had stated that the law would be enforced equally in the society.
