Rajitha’s anticipatory bail applications to be heard today

(UTV|COLOMBO) – The anticipatory bail applications filed by the former Minister, Parliamentarian Dr. Rajitha Senaratne, who is currently in remand custody, is set to be taken up in Court today (30).

Senaratne through the anticipatory bail application requested Court to issue an order to prevent his arrest.

Court rejected the first anticipatory bail application filed by the Parliamentarian.

Senaratne, was arrested by the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) on Friday (27) over the controversial alleged ‘White Van’ abductions media briefing, and was remanded till today.
