(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce presenting Sri Lanka as the emerging preferred destination for investments in Asia will kick off the ‘Sri Lanka Investment and Business Conclave 2017’ on May 30 in Colombo.
According to the organizer, the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce, the three-day Investment and Business Conclave offers the perfect blend of opportunities aimed at enriching institutional, corporate and individual investors and business houses with a comprehensive set of guidelines for their investment decisions.
The meeting will also act as a networking opportunity for introductions to potential business partners with a view of establishing partnerships in Sri Lanka.
The foreign investors are mainly expected to focus on the areas of Export Manufacturing, Agriculture, Apparel, Education, Infrastructure, Export Services, Knowledge Services, Tourism and Leisure, Power and Energy, Telecommunication and others.
The inauguration session of the event will take place on Tuesday, 30th May at the Cinnamon Grand Hotel in Colombo.
The program on the second day of the event, Wednesday, 31st May, will include Round Table/Panel Discussions with Government Ministers of Sri Lanka, panel Discussion with Industry Specialists, B2B Business Networking Session and G2B meetings with various Government Institutions.
On Thursday, the visiting investors will make field visits to Export Processing Zones, The Colombo Stock Exchange, Port of Colombo, and Sri Lanka Institute of Nanotechnology.
