(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – Severe traffic congestion was reported along the Olcott Mawatha and Ceramic Junction in Colombo Fort due to a protest march organised by the Inter-University Student’s Federation (IUSF) urging the Government to abolish the South Asian Institute of Technology and Medicine (SAITM) in Malabe.
The Police said the Lotus Road from Ceramic Junction towards the Galle Face Green has been temporarily closed because of the protest march.
