(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – Using actual footage from the news last year about the real-life creepy clown scare which swept the United States and parts of Europe, new indie film “Behind the Sightings” offers a found footage psychological thriller take on the phenomenon.
Based off of 112 hours of footage recovered from the personal belongings of a husband and wife who go out to investigate the rash of creepy clown sightings to track down one of the first in North Carolina. What the duo finds is far more sinister than initially believed.
The trailer for the film is now out below and Tommy V Films has secured the film rights for the movie with a release planned this October – just one month after the remake of “IT” hits the screen.
