(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – Several areas of the North have initiated a hartal campaign today (16) to oppose the motion of No-Confidence Motion filed against the Chief Minister of the Northern Province, C. V. Vigneswaran.
Meanwhile, a petition signed by 15 members of the NPC to counter the No-Confidence Motion submitted against Chief Minister C. V. Vigneswaran, was handed over to Governor Reginald Cooray Thursday night (15).
A group of NPC members including Tamil National Alliance (TNA) Councillor M. K. Shivajilimgam had handed over the petition.
