(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – On receipt of intelligence information, naval personnel attached to the Western Naval Command combined with Peliyagoda Police, on a search carried out at Peralanda, Ragama area apprehended a person with illegal drugs on Thursday (15).
Accordingly, thousand (1000) tablets of illegal drugs which are believed to be used for intoxicating were recovered while transferring them for the distribution on a motor bike in Ragama area. The arrested person, motor bike and the consignment of illegal drugs were handed over to the Peliyagoda Police for further investigations.
