(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – The Colombo High Court Wednesday (28) ordered the release of Parliamentarian Namal Rajapaksa and two others on surety bails amounting to Rs. 1 million each.
Two accused out of the five were not present at the Courts today and were issued notice again.
The Attorney General (AG) had filed 11 indictments under the Money Laundering Act for alleged mis-earning of Rs.30 million against these five accused.
The next hearing would be held on August 31.
