(UTV|COLOMBO) – The Local Government elections will be held on the first Saturday after 04 February, 2018, Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe said.
The Prime Minister made this statement during an observational tour of the proposed Export Processing Zone (EPZ) in Bingiriya on Sunday (03).
Prime Minister Wickremesinghe instructed the relevant authorities to expedite construction work on the proposed Bingiriya Export Processing Zone. The 2018 budget has allocated Rs. 2,500 million for the proposed EPZ at Bingiriya.
