Memorandum of Understanding between Central Bank of Sri Lanka and Sri Lanka Police

UTV | COLOMBO – A memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between Financial Intelligence Unit of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka and Sri Lanka Police for the purpose of exchanging information related to the investigations conducted based on the Acts on the Prevention of Money Laundering and Financing of Terrorist Activities. The MOU was signed by Inspector General of Police, Mr. Pujith Jaysundara and Director of Financial Intelligence Unit of the Central Bank, Mr. H. Amarathunga on 13 December 2017 at the premises of the Central Bank with the participation of Mr. Indrajit Coomaraswamy, the Governor of the Central Bank.

Many police officers including SDIG in charge of Criminal Investigation Department, Mr. Ravi Seneviratne and Acting DIG in charge of Law, Discipline and Conduct Range, Mr. Ravi Peris and many senior officers of the Central Bank participated in this event. (Courtesy – Police Media)
