UTV | COLOMBO – Police have arrested a suspect in possession of 23,400 Narcotic pills in Ampara.
The suspect was arrested during a raid conducted on a tip off received by the Ampara Police.
The 65 year old individual in question is a resident of Akkaraipattu.
The suspect will be produced before the Ampara Magistrate’s Court today.
The Amapara Police are conducting further investigations into the incident.
