(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – President Maithripala Sirisena says the tri-forces will have greater responsibility on regional security in the future.
Speaking at an event held in Colombo yesterday (31st Tuesday), the Head of State said Sri Lanka gives its highest respect to war heroes who made commitments and sacrificed their lives during the 30 year long conflict.
President Sirisena said the government will fulfill its responsibilities to make sure the tri-forces can carry out its duties to ensure national and regional security.
