Premier calls for withdrawal of No-Confidence Motion against SLFP Ministers

(UTV|COLOMBO) – Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe has instructed the United National Party (UNP) Parliamentarians to withdraw the No-Confidence Motion against the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) Ministers who voted in favour of the No-Confidence Motion against him.

The Director General of the Department of Government Information Sudarshana Gunawardana issuing a message on Twitter quoted the Prime Minster as saying the Motion was not a collective decision of the party, therefore to withdraw the No-Confidence Motion.
