(UTV|COLOMBO) – James Marsden and Julia Butters (“American Housewife”) have joined the cast of Quentin Tarantino’s “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood”. Specifics of the roles Marsden and Butters are playing are under wraps.
Set in Los Angeles in 1969, the story follows Rick Dalton (Leonardo DiCaprio), the former star of a western TV series, and his longtime stunt double, Cliff Booth (Brad Pitt).
Both are struggling to make it in a Hollywood they no longer recognize. But Dalton has a very famous next-door neighbour, Sharon Tate.
The pair joins Damian Lewis as Steve McQueen and Margot Robbie as Sharon Tate along with Al Pacino, Burt Reynolds, Timothy Olyphant, Luke Perry, Emile Hirsch, Dakota Fanning, Clifton Collins Jr., Keith Jefferson and Nicholas Hammond.
The film is slated to be released worldwide on August 9th 2019 – the 50th anniversary of the day the Manson family committed the LaBianca murders and the day after Tate was killed.
