(UTV|COLOMBO) – Colombo Municipal Councillor Krishnapillai Thirubanandan alias Krishna was shot dead by an unidentified gunman this morning (09) in Pettah.
The 40-year-old Councillor, a resident of Colombo 13, was injured when the gunman open fired at him at Adivel Street in Pettah at around 7.45 this morning.
He succumbed to injuries after admission to the Colombo National Hospital.
