(UTV|COLOMBO) – A list of 18 inmates on death row over drug related offences has been submitted to the Ministry of Justice as the Government seek to implement the death sentence on them.
The inmates are currently been serving life in prison as the death sentence was not implemented in Sri Lanka.
Meanwhile, the application for the post of an Executioner will called for from next week.
