(UTV|COLOMBO) Several complaints have been lodged at the Police Headquarters against MP Vijayakala Maheswaran over the controversial statement she made which also led to her resignation from her State Ministerial post.
Followed by this Police have recorded a statement from Parliamentarian Vijayakala Maheswaran at her residence in Jaffna regarding the controversial LTTE-bias statement she made during an event in Jaffna.
Further, Police had also recorded a statement from the Northern Provincial Chief Minister, C.V. Vigneswaran in connection with the Pro-LTTE speech made by former State Minister, Vijayakala Maheswaran.
