(UTV|COLOMBO) – Warner Bros. Pictures has premiered a new poster for its upcoming newest “The Conjuring” spin-off horror film “The Nun”. In the new take, the demonic nun from “The Conjuring 2” gets her own film.
The story begins when a young nun at a cloistered abbey in Romania takes her own life. A priest with a haunted past and a novitiate on the threshold of her final vows are sent by the Vatican to investigate.
Together they uncover the order’s unholy secret and risk their very souls to confront a malevolent force as the abbey becomes a horrific battleground between the living and the damned.
Demian Bichir, Taissa Farmiga, Jonas Bloquet, Charlotte Hope, Ingrid Bisu and Bonnie Aarons star. Corin Hardy (“The Hallow”) helms the film which James Wan and Peter Safran produce.
“The Nun” is slated for a theatrical release September 7th.
