(UTV|COLOMBO) – Kate Winslet, Diane Keaton and Mia Wasikowska have been to set to star in “Blackbird,” an English-language remake of Bille August’s 2014 Danish-language feature “Silent Heart,” at Millennium Films.
The story follows a terminally ill mother (Keaton) who brings her family together for one last weekend before she commits suicide. Winslet and Wasikowska will play her daughters.
Roger Michell (“Notting Hill,” “My Cousin Rachel”) helms the film penned by Christian Torpe. Sherryl Clark is producing and filming kicks off in August in London.
