(UTV|COLOMBO) – Manuel Garcia-Rulfo (“Sicario: Day of the Soldado”), Adria Arjona (“Pacific Rim: Uprising”), and Corey Hawkins (“Straight Outta Compton”) have signed on to join Ryan Reynolds and Dave Franco in Michael Bay’s big-budget action feature “6 Underground” for Netflix and Skydance.
“Deadpool” scribes Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese penned and executive produces the $125 million-budgeted film in which Reynolds will lead a team of four men and two women on a mission to stop evil.
Reynolds plays operative codenamed ‘One’, it’s expected the other three and Franco will play the other members of the team bar one that has yet to be cast.
Bay, Ian Bryce, David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Don Granger will produce the film which begins shooting later this month ahead of a 2019 release.
