“Batman: Hush” becomes a DCAU movie

(UTV|COLOMBO) – The famed twelve-issue 2002 “Batman” comic storyline “Batman: Hush” is set to be adapted into an animated feature film that Warner Bros. Home Entertainment will release next year. The studio announced their slate of animated DC movies for 2019 during San Diego Comic-Con with the title being the most exciting and unexpected of the line-up.

In the original comic, Hush is a villainous mastermind and heavily bandaged mystery man who gets much closer to Bruce Wayne than any foe has before. Pushed past his breaking point, Batman must unravel the truth behind Hush’s identity and murderous plot.

The DCAU line-up for next year has been upped from three to four films and includes “Reign of the Supermen,” “Justice League Vs. the Fatal Five,” “Batman: Hush” and “Wonder Woman: Bloodlines”. Specifics of the storylines are under wraps but one fact revealed is that the aforementioned ‘Fatal Five’ includes Tharok, Emerald Empress, Validus, Mano and the Persuader.
