(UTV|COLOMBO) – Adam Pally (“The Mindy Project”) and Neal McDonough (“Legends of Tomorrow”) have been cast in the “Sonic the Hedgehog” film at Paramount Pictures.
The pair joins James Marsden, Jim Carrey, Tika Sumpter, Natasha Rothwell and the recently confirmed Ben Schwartz as the voice for the title character. Pally plays the partner of Marsden’s cop, McDonough’s role is under wraps.
The film is based on the popular SEGA games and focuses on Sonic’s attempts to battle the evil Doctor Robotnik who is on a quest to assemble the Chaos emeralds.
Jeff Fowler helms the film which began shooting in Vancouver last week ahead of a November 15th 2019 release.
