(UDHAYAM, HOLLYWOOD) – American singer Aaron Carter, who was recently attacked onstage during his Bradley concert over racial comments, has come out with a response to the incident.
The 29-year-old took to Twitter and defended himself against the accusations of racism on him, foreign media reports.
“News flash my band consists of three amazing black funk musicians and an Italian guitar player from Italy Simone Stan Petey and p bass… They raised me and have been playing with me doing shows for 16 years.”
Carter was performing at the Loony Bin in Bradley, when a member from the opening act, began grabbing mobile phones from fans in the crowd and filming Carter on stage.
The singer noticed the disturbance and said “Bye Felipe,” as the musician was being dragged outside the venue. But he rushed back and attacked Carter.
He also shared on how he was not beaten up but was just pushed, “I didn’t get beat up I got a hit and pushed when I wasn’t looking and they ran out the club and I stood on the speakers waiting for them?”
“This dude sized me up after I said he had to go and said bye Felipe like bye Felicia the male version.. Friday? He needed to go,” Carter continued.
The authorities are investigation about the matter.
