(UTV|COLOMBO) The Cranberries frontwoman Dolores O’Riordan died from drowning due to alcohol intoxication, an inquest heard today.
The Irish singer was found dead aged 46 at a hotel on central London’s Park Lane in January.
Cops determined her death wasn’t suspicious and an inquest at Westminster Coroner’s Court today heard she drowned.
Coroner’s officer Stephen Earl said in court in January: “This lady was staying at a hotel in central London when on Monday 15 January she was found unresponsive in her room.”
He continued: “A post-mortem has now been carried out and the court is awaiting results of various tests that have been commissioned.”
How she died will be investigated during the hearing today at Westminster Coroner’s Court.
